Cold as snow.....

It is very late here and I feel cold as the snow that covers the ground. The world is washed in white sparking beauty.........can the coldness be beautiful to? A cold that numbs you inside and out....and protects you from feeling the hurt or pain....but cold is a sort of pain in itself. If the cold is too much for a fragile body to handle it blackens and  bites...............and eats at you until you can never feel anything again.Sometimes I love drowning in the coldness and darkness safe from the world and even myself.....am I safe there? Then on rare occasions I wish and wonder quite fearfully .........what golden sun would feel like upon my face.......would it;s light burn me....or warm me? Would the sun show me smiling or crying as it chases the cold darkness away. Not all things that are white are bright you know....many things that are white and glittering are the coldest darkest places you could stand to be any part of....................

   The vampire stalks her lover

  I  breathe in your scent that rides the nights breezes .The winds swirl  the leaves around my feet as I walk silently in your footsteps.I feel my own pulse quicken as you look around nervously .I call your name so softly the whisper of the wind  carries it away.
   My hair dances around my face brushing my cheeks , black feathers  against white satin .My boots laced to my ankles and my black dress in rag like tatters .I watch your steps speed up.....slow down..........stop.
 You look around sensing my green eyes upon you.You do not see me.I again call out your name , a soft sweet whisper.Our eyes lock.Fires stir within our intertwined gazes.I tug the red satin ribbon from my long raven tresses.I smile a white sharp toothed smile as the wind carries the richly scented ribbon to cling to your face.I run into the darkness leaving you with my memory and a scent of dead roses.
   I wait for the moment I will come to you again.while you look back and wonder if I were real or not.I wait for the time that I will make you my lover , and my child.I bite my red lips in anticipation of that night."I will come for you my love..........I promise you ........and forever."
